THE SUITE

The Suite was most likely once a storeroom full of opulent silks and fine linens, destined to grace the well-to-do in faraway lands. This room would have housed the entire wealth of the family who once made the Weavery their home. The exposed original beams of the high ceiling hold many clues to the times when this building was a busy workplace and home during Holland’s golden age. The Suite is both comfy and spacious, and has access to its own roof terrace overlooking internal block courtyards; a hidden side of the real Amsterdam most tourists rarely get a chance to see. The Suite is an island of comfort with its own large bathroom with bath and rain-shower, and a separate private w/c. The in-room tea and coffee making facilities help to ease your way into the morning. If you have some downtime there is a big screen TV, and if you don’t there is wireless Internet to keep you connected. Please note that there is no elevator in the building and the Suite is located on the 2nd floor, with a very steep and narrow staircase leading up.
